How Invisalign Works

Your initial appointment at our office will entail a comprehensive dental examination. We will evaluate your smile, bite and facial structure to determine if Invisalign is a viable treatment option for you or your family member. Orthodontic records will be taken in order to create a treatment plan that will generate the optimum results.

Keep in mind that orthodontics is much more than just straightening teeth. Facial structure is also affected by the position of your teeth. Your teeth act as the support structure for lips and other soft tissue features. The positions of the upper and lower jaws, both vertically and horizontally, are directly related to tooth position. We will discuss the options for care and provide you with a detailed recommendation based upon our ﬁndings.

You’ll be able to see a virtual representation of your teeth before, during and after completion of the Invisalign process. This will provide you with a representation of what your smile should look like once you have completed treatment.

Based upon our treatment plan. customized Aligners will be constructed for each individual situation. Full treatment averages 6-15 months.
